More clues to the Kawasaki Supercharged Z
Kawasaki next supercharged bike has been teased on social media again today, giving us even more insight into the hyper-naked's design
KAWASAKI’S latest supercharged offering has been given another tease on social media this afternoon in the form a social video giving us the biggest clues so far as to the bike's design.
Firstly, this is the clearest ‘view’ we’ve had of the new machine so far – albeit in typical Kawasaki teaser video styling.
The bike seems to share a front end that looks to follow the Kawasaki Z800, Z1000, in that it has twin headlights that are topped off by a small fly screen that covers the instrument binnacle. We can also clearly see the engine taken from the H2 and H2 SX nestling in the sweet-looking tubular frame of Kawasaki's soon to be most powerful naked motorcycle.
Other details from the video include the same cool-air inlet as the H2 and H2 SX, complete with the oh-so-cool chirping of a supercharger as the blades surpass supersonic speeds – as you can tell, I’m more than a little bit excited about this bike!
The video also confirms the bike is to have the obligatory TFT dash (thankfully featuring Kawasaki Traction Control!) and that the bike seems to have the same paint and finish as the supercharged sportsbike it is based. Which is great because the dark gloss and lime green of the H2 is one of the best paint combos on two-wheels in my eyes!
The final point of the video asks people to save the date of the 23rd October 2019 – when all will hopefully be revealed!
Stay tuned folks!
