TO mark the release of the new MV Agusta F3 the Italian firm will produce the golden-draped limited edition 'Serie Oro' costing £19,999.

The regular base model will cost €11,990 (approx £10,500). The Serie Oro will more than double the price, as the premium model features high-end Öhlins suspension, racing-spec Brembo Monobloc callipers, carbon-fibre bodywork, with the frame and single-sided swingarm lavished in gold, as well as the forged aluminium wheels.

The Serie Oro continues MV Agusta's past of creating gold specials and in regards to the F3, only 200 of the exclusive machine will be built to special order.

The production run will commence in December, running through January, for delivery for the first month and February in 2012. The exclusive gold machines are only able for reservation with a deposit of £4500, the potential owner will then be told the number of bike - between 1-200 - they will be allocated.
