New Ariel Ace Iron Horse inbound for 2020
Arial, based in Somerset, is about the unveil the brand-new Ariel Ace Iron Horse motorbike model at Motorcycle Live this year.

As the name would suggest, the Ace Iron Horse is based on the Honda V4 powered Ace muscle cruiser; It’s set to be revealed on Saturday, November 16, at Birmingham’s NEC.
The Ace Iron Horse has a hand-welded aluminium CNC machined frame, which takes just over 70 hours to construct. Then, as if this wasn’t enough, the frame is hand polished to a mirror finish. Get your wallets ready...
The reason for all the craftsmanship is because the bike was created as a tribute to the ‘Black Ariels’, produced all the way back in 1926.
Atop the frame sits a carbon fibre fuel tank, and the skeleton of the bike is surrounded by a whole heap of carbon fibre body panels. Finished in black of course. Behind the tank sits a hand-finished single saddle, also black.
The uber-exclusive front end is equipt with Ariel’s girder fork system - polished to a level even Barry Scott would be proud of - and linked to a gold fully-adjustable Öhlins TTX shock. At the rear, a polished chrome-like wheel fits into a single-sided swingarm, once more supported by an Öhlins monoshock with an external adjuster.
Not to forget about performance, the Iron Horse is still fitted with the same 173bhp Honda VFR1200-derived V4 motor as found in the original Ace. The delightful sounding V4 produces a solid 95.1ftlb of torque, and is claimed to be able to propel the Ace Iron Horse [via shaft drive] to 170mph…
No idea of the price just yet, but considering each bike can be tailor-made to the owner's requirements it won’t be cheap.
For the money the owner will also get:
Adjustable footrests and levers
Full LED lighting
LCD instruments (a bit weak)
Linked braked
And traction control
