SPY shots have emerged of a new Ducati Monster in production-ready condition.

The new bike bears a striking resemblance to the recently launched Monster 1200, but uses the 110hp 821cc liquid-cooled engine found in the new Ducati Hypermotard.

The new Monster will get traction control, riding modes, ABS and an all-new double-sided swing arm and is likely to have similar pricing to the Hypermotard (£9,695).

Sources say it’s only a few months away from going into production, meaning the launch date is potentially in line with World Ducati Week at Misano in July.
