Alpine will join Pramac as early as the 2025 season as a sponsor to the new Yamaha team, and the world champions, thanks to Jorge Martin’s title success in 2024, have confirmed it will join as a ‘main’ sponsor.

Rumours of the two sides striking a deal began to surface late last year before an agreement was soon expected between the two parties. Pramac has since confirmed the news on its social media channels as the F1 team, owned by French car manufacturer Renault, now holds a presence in the two biggest racing championships in the world.

About the deal, Pramac said: “Two worlds, one shared vision. On the eve of an exciting 2025 season, Prima Pramac Yamaha MotoGP is proud to announce a new partnership with Alpine Cars.”

The 2025 MotoGP season will be Pramac’s first since leaving its long and illustrious partnership with Ducati, where it often received full factory-spec machinery from the Italian brand.

Without Pramac in its ranks, Ducati has now allocated a full factory GP25 to Fabio Di Giannantonio and the VR46 team, although he’s the only rider outside of Francesco Bagnaia and Marc Marquez that will receive that treatment.

For Alpine, it's unclear how prominent its sponsorship will be aboard the Pramac Yamaha bikes. Prima will remain the team’s title sponsor until the end of the 2027 season which will be the first under the new regulations.

Alpine’s decision to partner with Pramac also comes after increased interest from Formula One in the championship, with the F1 logo running on the back of Pramac motorcycles in recent years.
