THE OWNERS behind the construction of Portugal's new racetrack in Portimao are to name one of the circuit's corners after British racer Craig Jones, who tragically lost his life at the weekend.
The 4km Portuguese track, which is still under construction and will be completed later this year, is scheduled to host the last round of the World Supersport series on November 2nd. It's reported circuit's owners, who are also heavily involved with Jones' team - Parkalgar Honda - believe the gesture will be a fitting tribute to the talented young Brit.
Craig lost his life as a result of a racing accident during last weekend's Supersport race at Brands Hatch.
