FIM ePower race series flops
Organisation reveals a lack of entrants for this weekend's first e-Power race
FOLLOWING THE news unearthed by Visordown that entries to the FIM's 2010 e-Power race series have been a flop, the organisation has now confirmed just five teams and six riders will compete in the opening round of the FIM Championship, which takes place this coming weekend at Le Mans.
The news will come as no surprise to many; the FIM's move to start their own e-power race series, effectively cutting the true founders of zero-emission racing, TTXGP, has proved an unpopular move. Many believe the decision to form a breakaway championship at such a critical stage has proved highly detrimental to the long-term future of alternative fuel motorcycle sport.
