MotoGP: Rossi to end career with Yamaha

FIAT YAMAHA team manager, Davide Brivio, has revealed Valentino Rossi is set to work out a deal with Yamaha that will see him finish his career with the company.

The seven-time world champion has stated a desire remain with Fiat Yamaha until the Italian maestro retires; all that’s left to work out are the details.

“Yamaha is very keen to continue with Valentino Rossi, of course, and Valentino Rossi is very happy to continue with Yamaha,” Fiat Yamaha team manager Davide Brivio said, “because our relationship and the atmosphere is very good, very well.”

"Ending his career with Yamaha is “Yamaha’s intent and this is Valentino’s intent. The condition is the package has to continue to remain competitive. So, I mean, if we are able to provide a good bike, a bike which can win on and he can fight for the win, then I don’t see a reason why Valentino should change,” Brivio said.
