The 200mph straight should be a real blast

HERE ARE the latest drawings for the upgrade of Donington Park circuit, in the East Midlands.

Visordown broke the news several months ago that the track was to undergo a serious revamp over the next couple of years.

If you take a close look at the drawings you'll see Foggy Esses will be removed to make way for a 1-mile-long 200mph straight. Goddards (the hairpin that leads onto the start/finish straight) is also to go, making way for a swooping, long Lukey Heights-style left-hander.

It should be awesome. We can't wait for the first trackday to kick off!
