First Look: Rossi's Desmosedici GP12
Ducati Desmosedici GP12 livery unveiled on Facebook
DUCATI have revealed the new Desmosedici GP12 that Valentino Rossi and Nicky Hayden will campaign in the 2012 MotoGP season.
The new race livery for the Desmosedici was unveiled in a live online presentation, broadcast on team sponsor TIM's Facebook page.
For the 2012 season the paint scheme closely resembles that of the Panigale S Tricolore, with green flashes joining the familiar red and white paint from previous years.
Ducati's technical director, Fillipo Preziosi was tight-lipped about the changes made to the Desmosedici GP but confirmed that the engine's cylinder angle remains at 90° and that it has been built to the maximum 1000cc capacity.
The radiator appears to be built from a single piece, meaning that the engine may have been rotated rearwards, alloing it to be mounted further forward within the chassis and putting a greater load on the front end of the bike.
