French MotoGP - Free Practice (1) Results

Home rookie star Quartararo is fastest during opening practice for the French MotoGP at Le Mans.

Rossi was forced to park his Yamaha at the midway stage after the chain broke.

Lorenzo fell early in the session after running wide at Turn 8. Team-mate Marquez saved a big moment at the same spot later on.

KTM's Espargaro used a carbon fibre swingarm during his best laps, behind Miller.
