As the MotoGP heads to Silverstone for the British Grand Prix this weekend, here’s where you can watch the race on Sunday for free in the UK!

With the race due to start at 12.30 pm BST, viewers can tune in to ITV (both on the television & streaming using the ITV Hub service) to enjoy a brief build-up and the full race, with scheduling running until 14:30.
Of course, those with a subscription to BT Sport will still be able to enjoy the usual full coverage of the weekend through the channel, as well as via the MotoGP subscription.
Some British MotoGP & Silverstone facts
Historically, Honda has had the most wins at Silverstone over the years, with 41 wins as a manufacturer. Marquez is still very much in his ‘return to form’ season, but will no doubt hope that he can defy the odds and add to the 2 wins he has enjoyed there in his time - 1 in the 125cc class in 2010, 1 MotoGP win in 2014.
As a rider, Valentino Rossi has won 8 times at British GPs, with the last win at Silverstone coming in 2019 by Alex Rins for Suzuki. The 2020 British GP was cancelled as a result of Covid-19, and the race was cancelled in 2018 due to poor weather and drainage issues on the track.
This means that, bizarrely, MotoGP champ Joan Mir will be making his MotoGP debut at Silverstone, only previously racing at the track in 2017 during his Moto3 title-winning campaign!
