Mission Winnow backs Pramac MotoE team
Pramac MotoE squad joins Ducati MotoGP team in running Mission Winnow branding.
The new Pramac MotoE project is to join the factory Ducati MotoGP team in running Mission Winnow branding this season.
The Philip Morris initiative - which the company insists is not linked to any smoking or e-cigarette products but aims to encourage 'positive change' - is to become 'main sponsor' of the Pramac electric bike.
However, Octo will remain as title sponsor and an image supplied with the announcement (above) suggests the wording will only be on the belly pan of the bike.
“We are excited that Mission Winnow is partnering with the Octo Pramac MotoE team. Mission Winnow aims to drive change by constantly searching for better ways of doing things, evolving and moving forward," said Riccardo Parino of Philip Morris International.
"MotoE embodies this philosophy perfectly and demonstrates what passion and innovation can develop. We look forward to a positive partnership with the Octo Pramac MotoE team and wish them a successful 2019 racing season in MotoE.”
Following the fire delay at Jerez, the opening round of the inaugural MotoE season will take place at Sachsenring, Germany on July 5-7.
