Qualifying results from the 2019 Qatar Moto3 Grand Prix, round 1 of 19.

The first grand prix pole position of 2019 goes to Aron Canet on his debut for Max Biaggi's team in the Moto3 class.
Main practice rival Romano Fenati is sent out too late for a last lap attack and drops to eleventh on the grid.
Moto3 used a two-part qualifying system for the first time, with the top 14 riders after FP3 going directly to Qualifying 2.
The others took part in Qualifying 1, where only the top four advanced to Qualifying 2.
