MotoGP 2012: Silverstone results
Lorenzo rules supreme in the British GP
JORGE LORENZO scored a comfortable win at Silverstone to take a hat-trick of wins this season.
The factory Yamaha rider stalked championship rival Casey Stoner before putting a race winning pass on the Repsol Honda rider on lap six. The podium was rounded out the factory Honda pairing of Stoner and Dani Pedrosa in second and third respectively.
Cal Crutchlow took the ride of the day, putting in a star performance in front of the British fans carving through from the back of the grid to take sixth place despite injuring his foot in a practice crash on Friday.
