A three-way collaboration between RGNT, Crooked Motorcycles and Vanguard has led to this exotic custom cafe racer being built.

Not just any type of cafe racer, RGNT’s finger prints are well and truly involved in this project which has taken inspiration from racers of the 1970s, while the style of the electric bike has been crafted by German custom specialists, Crooked Motorcycles.

Then there’s Vanguard, a Dutch clothing company that was at the forefront of the design as the bike was built to debut alongside Vanguard’s 2025 spring/summer clothing collection.

The custom-built motorcycle, which came into production during the summer of 2024, is claimed to play a crucial part in highlighting Vanguard’s upcoming collections. Derived from the RGNT Classic SE which features a more scrambler type of style, the new cafe racer arrives as a light electric vehicle that features a 1970s custom design.

The collaboration between RGNT and Crooked Motorcycles is the second time the British and German companies have worked together on a custom build.

Dominikus Braun from Crooked Motorcycles adds, “This is our second collaboration with RGNT, after the E-type, and we couldn’t be more thrilled about the outcome. Working with Vanguard allowed us the creative freedom to build something we’ve always wanted: a ’70s classic-inspired racer that perfectly fuses retro aesthetics with cutting-edge electric technology. We’re excited to see the bike on the streets and in shops across Europe.”

Vanguard claims “working with RGNT and Crooked Motorcycles takes us to a next level”, after years of projects with other brands, although this is the first time its working with RGNT and Crooked Motorcycles.
