Fastest quarter mile wheelie - set on a Bajaj Pulsar NS200
Indian stunt rider Hrishi Mandke sets the record for fastest quarter-mile wheelie on a Bajaj Pulsar NS200 - 402 metres in 23.6 seconds!
RECORDS are made to be broken, and Hrishi Mandke (an Indian stunt rider) sets the record for the fastest quarter-mile on one wheel, riding a stock Bajaj Pulsar NS 200.
According to our colleagues at RideApart.com, the Bajaj Pulsar NS 200 is the bike of choice for stunt riders in India, and since the bike has a near endless supply of spare parts available, it’s a perfect option to try these things out… if it doesn’t end well.

The Bajaj Pulsar is also noted as a lightweight ride at just 156kg, with the 199cc engine producing a modest 24bhp and 18.5Nm of torque, great numbers for an attempt at a world record, especially on one wheel.
Hrishi Mandke headed down to an airstrip (Baramati Airstrip near Pune, apparently), did some backflips to warm up, rode through some explosions and flames, and set off on one wheel as quickly as possible. I may have made some of that up.
Bajaj Pulsar NS200 - record breaker!
He had a wheelie good time at it, and covered 402 metres in 23.6 seconds, averaging (let me get my calculator) 61.06 km/h, or 37.9 mph, judged by the India Book of Records & Federation of Motor Sports Club of India (FMSCI) to be the fastest ever recorded. Fair play!
If you fancy a go at beating the stunt, you’ll have to recreate his constraints - definitely do not do this on the road if you want to keep your licence (the police definitely won’t be cheering you on). Hrishi only removed the rear licence plate and rearview mirrors from the bike, outside of that it was completely stock - so completely beatable!
Let us know if you think you can beat the record.
