Registrations for the event will open on 5 December as current KTM customers can bag themselves a spot on the Europe Adventure Rally which will travel through Romania.

The annual expedition is set for its eighth year of running in 2025, after this year's event saw riders begin their journey in Portugal before reaching stops in Italy, Greece, France and Norway.

The Rally is open to all KTM Adventure riders which could see around 20 different models taking part. Describing the event, KTM says competitors “will be able to take the trip of a lifetime around the green, dense and hilly landscapes surrounding the historic setting of Sibiu, nearly 300 km northwest of Bucharest.

“Mountain dips, lush meadows, gravel roads, forest trails and rocky ravines complement tarmac sections of the Transalpina pass - one of the highest roads through the Carpathian range - throughout the three-day event, all of which are topped off by an attempt at part of the daunting Red Bull Romaniacs course.”

As part of KTM’s extensive 2025 lineup, various different adventure bikes have been introduced including the 790 Adventure, a brand-new 890 Adventure R, 390 Adventure R, 1390 Super Adventure S and the 1390 Super Adventure S Evo models.

KTM is welcoming riders of all abilities and it will be an experience where riders can choose to use their own GPS equipment along the way or ride in small groups.

KTM’s ongoing financial wobble has been a hot topic of discussion of late, as it plans to apply for self-administration today. However, the Austrian brand remains committed to providing customers with the same platform as before, both with the Adventure Rally event but also with the vast amount of new models that will arrive in dealers early next year.

You can reserve your place from 5 December here.
