As part of its World Ducati Week celebrations in Misano, Italy, the Bologna manufacturer introduced its seventh generation 2024 Ducati Panigale V4. However, with the standard bike coming in at £24,395 and the V4 S costing just shy of £30k, it’s out of reach for many. That’s what makes this 2018 Ducati Panigale V4 for sale at Chiswick Honda Motorcycles rather interesting.

The new machine that has grabbed the headlines for more than one reason, including the new winglets which many people are not fans of, plus the switching from a single-sided swingarm to a double. This older V4, then, could be right up your street for reasons other than the price.

It’s not exactly well-used, with 10,000 miles on the clock, and that use and the passage of time has dropped the value to just under £13,000. In other words, more than £11,000 cheaper than the new bike.

With an engine size of 1,103cc and low mileage given the year (2018), this Panigale V4 is a machine that has a lot to offer. One of those is the powerplant which remains largely the same compared to its predecessor’s. The new lump in the 2024 Panigale is slightly more powerful, and by slightly we’re talking about very minimal gains, improved as it comes in with a 216hp, compared to the previous model which sat at 215.5hp.

If you’re in the market for a Panigale V4 but are not looking to break lap records at your local track, then having a teeny tiny bit more power, less weight and new aero is unlikely to be a selling point, and therefore this 2018 model could be the one for you.

The 2018 bike available here was not produced with the current winglets as it was produced prior to MotoGP-style aero coming aboard the street bike, which arguably makes for a cleaner-looking bike. It’s also still packed with cool features including selectable riding modes, a quick shifter, and sophisticated traction control.

The bike has had three previous owners but looks to be in pristine condition. It’s been through a 120-point safety check, and comes with a three-month warranty.
