The Tracer 9 GT range is not just about pretty looks and hints of the R1 glazing all over it, as it won Rider’s Motorcycle of the Year award in 2021.

Rider Magazine said this about the bike after its success: “When a bike wins Rider’s Motorcycle of the Year award, as the Yamaha Tracer 9 GT did in 2021, it’s a special machine that beat out dozens of others in the year it was selected. But every motorcycle, even very good ones, can be made better. Just two years after earning MOTY honours, we have the new and improved Yamaha Tracer 9 GT+.

The Tracer 9 GT+ consists of a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, four-valve, three-cylinder, DOHC engine with a displacement of 890cc, the same as both the Tracer 9 and Tracer 9 GT. It makes just short of 118bhp and lays down an impressive 68.6Ib ft of torque.

There are two colourways when it comes to the Tracer 9 GT+, which are Icon Performance (which is the livery of this bike from CMC motorcycles), and Power Grey. It has KYB semi-active suspension on the front and rear along with plenty of other impressive features.

They include heated grips, quickshifter, several integrated rider modes such as Sport, Street and Rain, while there are also different intervention settings for traction control, slide control and lift control.

CMC Motorcycles also offers the chance to add further customisation in terms of parts, such as an Akrapovic exhaust system, comfort seat, touring screen, radiator guard and more.
