The 2025 Ducati Diavel V4 remains largely the same as the previous model, with the new ‘Black Roadster’ livery being the most significant development.

The Italian company unveiled the new colourway at the Intermot Motorcycle Show in Cologne, Germany, with a focus on being bold and daring. The Diavel V4 is rich in terms of its success, winning the Good Design Award that’s attributed to the Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design, and it was elected as “Best of the Best” in the prestigious Red Dot Award 2024.

Featuring a 1158cc liquid-cooled 90-degree V4 Granturismo four-cylinder engine, with Twin Pulse firing order, Ducati’s sporty muscle bike produces a whopping 168bhp at 10750rpm and 93Ib ft of torque at 7500rpm.

The engine placed in the Diavel V4, like the Panigale, Streetfighter and Multistrada V4 models features technology derived from its hugely successful Ducati MotoGP project.

The bike also features a very accommodating seat height of 790mm, while the suspension consists of dual 50mm diameter upside-down forks (includes compression and preload adjustment on the left tube, and rebound on the right tube) and a single shock absorber with a separate piggyback reservoir. The wheel travel is 120mm at the front and 145mm at the rear which is unchanged from the previous V4 model.

Also remaining the same is the braking system which comprises front Brembo brakes with Stylema radial monobloc calipers, operating on a PR16/19 radial brake master cylinder with integrated aluminium reservoir and two 330mm floating discs. Featured at the rear is a smaller 265mm diameter disc with a two-piston Brembo caliper.
