Forget Delivering Presents, this is the Santa we Really Need

Delivering presents is all well and good, but have you ever seen a motorcyclist, dressed as Santa, chase down a hit-and-run offender?

Hit and Run

Just out on a leisurely ride dressed as Santa, as you do, this motorcycle rider quickly became a hero for his part and stopped a female driver, who on more than one occasion tried to make a quick escape.

The driver, sorry, the idiot behind the wheel, was cornered on two occasions by the Santa-dressed motorcycle rider and other road users but managed to momentarily escape.

The motorcycle rider, though, was quick to mount his machine and quickly catch back up before his heroics finally paid off. After attempting to calm the driver down, they once again bolted before the motorcyclist found two policemen on bikes and alerted them of the hit-and-run.

Along with Santa, the two police officers tracked the black Renault Clio down and made an arrest, but not before showing their gun to the driver, who at this point had nowhere to run and was rightfully arrested for the incident, otherwise known as being a complete moron.

The incident took place at the Place Vendôme, in Paris, and after the arrest was made the motorcycle rider began sharing details of the accident which saw a pedestrian sent flying across the windshield of the Renault Clio.

Riding a Kawasaki Z800 with a custom exhaust and various other add-ons including short brake and clutch levers. Thankfully, the French rider received news that the victim was recovering “without too much harm”.

The incident, which was filmed by the Chris-RS YouTube channel, has over 12 million views and is well worth the 11-minute watch, even if it isn’t the most recent video out there - it’s still a Christmas cracker! You can see just how this motorcycle rider pulled off one of the best hit-and-run chases on the streets of Paris, in the video below.
