LEXMOTO'S stylish new commuter/learner bike, the ZSX 125, is now available to buy.

Priced at £1,499 RRP, the ZSX is £1,000 cheaper than the current segment leaders, Honda's CBF125 and Yamaha's YBR125. It comes with a one-year warranty - but some Lexmoto dealers are offering five-year warranties.

The bike is built by the Zongshen factory in China, which created it in partnership with Piaggio (the Piaggio-branded version is known as the Robinson).

The ZSX is powered by a variant of the proven '158FMI-B' 125cc single-cylinder engine used on many other Lexmoto models, with gearing designed to suit commuter riding. It makes 10.5 bhp and 6.8 lb-ft of torque.

Lexmoto expects the new bike to be a strong seller: the initial batch of units has already been fully allocated to dealers, and pre-orders are being taken on the second batch.
