What do we know about the Kawasaki Z H2 so far?

The new flagship of the Kawasaki naked bike class is shaping up to be a very special motorcycle indeed. Taking the awesome H2 supercharged powerplant and chassis, removing all the fairings is going to create one of the most exhilarating experiences on two wheels.

Hardware-wise, the teaser shots unearthed last week confirmed the machine would wear Showa Big Piston Forks at the front. With the current H2 using Brembo calipers up front it’d be easy to assume the Z H2 was running the same setup but we don’t think that’s the case. Brembo calipers are normally only paired with a similar spec set of master cylinders, but on the spy shots of the Z H2, we can see Nissin levers, only time will tell what the final spec will actually be though.

The move would make sense if the rumours are to be believed that the Z H2 will be a detuned and slightly less banzai machine than the full-fat 2019 H2 superbike.

Whatever the final spec – we don’t have long to wait, the launch date is tomorrow so stay tuned!!!
