Suzuki pull the wraps off new colours for the SV650
Suzuki have announced the SV650 naked motorcycle and Address scooter are to receive new colour options for 2020
SUZUKI’S long-standing naked the SV650 is to gain new colours for 2020 with a new metallic silver option with blue trellis frame being the most eye-catching.
Joining the range will also be matt black version with contrasting red frame and wheels, while those looking for a more refined and less shouty option can opt for a classy looking gloss black model with matching frame and wheels.
The SV650 has been a big hit since its launch thanks to predictable power delivery, decent economy, and that unmistakable V-twin soundtrack. It’s also a hit with the riding schools across the country for the same reason!
Since production started back in 1999, the SV has been through all manner of changes, from switching production to the Gladius and then back to the SV, to the new café racer inspired SV650X. With such a long line of riders earning their wings on the SV650, it’s fair to assume it’s strong sales will continue as long as the riding schools keep buying them and Suzuki keep building it.
The 2020 SV650 has an RRP of £5,999.
Also gaining new colours for the coming year is Suzuki’s budget scooter, the Address. The 2020 version of that bike will be wearing either pearl white, Suzuki blue – as per Mr Rins’ MotoGP machine just without the decals - and a dark matt-finished stellar blue option. The Address can boast up to 135mpg and is available for £2,199.
