Zongshen RX3, the baby adventure motorcycle
New Chinese model provides a white-label mini adventure motorcycle for emerging brands
THIS new Zongshen RX3 baby Adventure motorcycle slipped under our radar when it was launched at the tail-end of last year.
The Chinese-built Adventure motorcycle is built around a 249cc single-cylinder engine, producing 25bhp and 16.5ftlb of torque. It has a dry weight of 175kg, a seat height of 795mm and its top speed is a claimed 85mph. It featured LED running lights, an LCD speedometer, upside down forks, a three-box luggage system and a 16-litre fuel tank.
The Zongshen RX3 isn't directly available in the UK, however the bike is sold here as a Honley RX3. Honley is a new 'marque' created by West Yorkshire motorcycle dealers Earnshaws. The Honley RX3 is priced at £3,699 on the road and comes with a two year warranty.
The RX3 is also sold in Eastern Europe by motorcycle brand M1NSK badged as the TRX300i, pictured below far right.
