ACERBIS unveils trio of stylish adventure jackets
The Italian off-road specialists know a thing or two about protective, weatherproof gear...
ACERBIS has unveiled the new Discovery Range; a selection of stylish and well-specced adventure riding jackets offering style and durability at entry-level prices.
The three jackets – Safary, Forest and Ghibly – are constructed of abrasion-resistant 600D polyester, with the brand’s own CE Level 2 armour in the shoulders and elbows, and a pocket in which to fit back protection. Fully-taped seams and a waterproof and breathable coating applied inside the thermal lining ensures that the rider won’t get wet, while shoulder and back meshed ventilation can be unzipped on warmer days.
At the top of the range is the £199.99 Safary, which is as adventure-ready as would be expected. It boasts five outside waterproof pockets as well as additional pockets both inside and within the detachable liner.
The Forest, meanwhile, costs £184.99, and offers similar spec, albeit with only two waterproof pockets, located above the rider’s hips. For those looking for a more understated adventure jacket, this is the one to go for.
And finally, the £164.99 Ghibly sits at the bottom of the range, but does not comprise safety or style. However, it doesn’t come with a inner thermal liner, so if you’re planning on touring in the winter, you’d need to buy one separately.
All three jackets are available in Black, Black/Grey and Fluro Yellow in sizes Small to 3XL, with a specific ladies cut available.
