Kenny Foray and Hector Garzo have been announced as the two-rider line-up for Tech3’s MotoE squad for the inaugural season next year.
Following a flurry of rider confirmations for the all-electric series, Foray and Garzo are the latest pair revealed to be joining the first-ever MotoE series.
Foray, 34, claimed the 2017 French Superbike championship and has been a regular Endurance World Championship contender.
Garzo, who is currently inside the top three of the CEV Moto2 championship riding the French team’s Mistral 610, remains Tech3’s back-up rider for its Moto2 squad while bolstering his racing activities by moving into MotoE.
Testing for the maiden MotoE season begins at Jerez on 23-25 November.
The inaugural MotoE championship gets underway at Jerez next May before four further rounds at Le Mans, Sachsenring, Spielberg and Misano racing as part of the support classes to MotoGP in 2019.
