A 2024 MV Agusta Turismo Veloce R, pre-registered with just one mile on the clock, could be had for a new price of £12,999 as Peterborough-based dealer Wheels Motorcycles are offering savings of £2,805.

However, it gets even better as the offer also includes free luggage as well as a four-year MV warranty from the date of registration. The R model is the Italian marquee’s only sub-£20k Turismo Veloce motorcycle in the adventure segment, with the Lusso SCS and RC SCS models also part of the range.

Comprising a 798cc liquid-cooled three-cylinder engine, the Turismo Veloce R model features the same power unit as the more expensive Lusso and RC SCS motorcycles, which means it produces 110bhp at 11000rpm and 62Ib ft of torque at 8500rpm.

The braking system is from Brembo and is centered around two 320mm front discs, with four-piston radial callipers. ABS is supplied by Continental and comes complete with RLM (Rear Wheel Lift-Up Mitigation) as well as cornering ABS to provide maximum safety. At the rear is a two-piston calliper set-up again from Brembo that’s wrapped around a single 220mm brake disc.

The suspension comprises dual Marzocchi upside-down telescopic forks at the front with 160mm of travel, while also featuring rebound-compression damping and spring preload adjustment. At the rear is a Sachs single shock absorber with rebound and compression damping and spring preload adjustment. The rear suspension travel is slightly longer with a 165mm radius.

The 2024 Turismo Veloce R model includes new optional configurations including Bluetooth connection, cruise control, manually adjustable windscreen and a Mobisat anti-theft system. The extensive list of accessories doesn’t stop there as it also features heated grips (a must have in the UK), Garmin satellite navigation and various configurations to allow for transport luggage.
