Three-Year Factory Warranty on all 2025 Yamaha Models
The move means any 2025 model-year Yamaha bikes, even those that have already been bought, receive the extra cover
Yamaha is bolstering its new bike offerings for 2025, by adding a three-year factory-backed warranty to all MY25 bikes.
The move means that from the bottom to the top, all of Yamaha’s road-legal bikes will now get the warranty. That means from the top-spec Yamaha Tracer 9 GT+ right the way down to the featherweight D’elight, all new models get the extra coverage. Adding some confidence to those looking to take the plunge into lightweight electric bike ownership, even the battery-powered Yamaha NEO’s scooter and, more importantly, its batteries are included.
And it isn’t just bikes that are yet to leave the dealership that are being covered by the warranty, with Yamaha extending the cover to those that have already been sold. This means any bikes that have already been sold from the 2025 model year, and may already be out on the road clocking up miles, have been retrospectively registered with the new warranty period. Yamaha has also confirmed that no further action is required from the customer.
Yamaha also points to further enhancements to its aftersales offerings that are still to come, including the possibility of changes to its official pre-owned products. The statement reads “Yamaha is working closely with Yamaha Warranty Services to align this upgrade with its Extended Warranty and Certified Pre-Owned programs. Additional details will follow.” Whether this means that bikes sold via Yamaha’s pre-owned platform will also gain a similar warranty remains to be seen.
