World Supercross Championship Reports Mind-Blowing Growth for 2024
The World Supercross Championship has reported huge growth for 2024, with viewership per race up by a staggering 73 per cent

The World Supercross Championship made waves in 2024 as massive growth numbers have been reported, while 2025 will see the series land in London and Buenos Aires for the first time.
Starting with the viewing figures, which are the best for the series compared to previous years, the 2024 season produced a 151 per cent total year-on-year increase as well as a YoY rise of 73 per cent in viewership numbers per race.
The championship also saw a growth of 18 per cent in broadcast numbers compared to the 2023 season, further helping the dirt racing championship cement itself as a growing series in the two-wheel stratosphere.
With just three venues staging races in 2024, which were Vancouver, Perth (hosted rounds two and three) and Abu Dhabi which played host for the season-finale, the 2025 season has been expanded as another two venues have been added including the inaugural London round. As well as the new London round, Buenos Aires becomes the second all-new destination for the championship.

Tom Burwell, CEO at WSX commented: “We know there is a dedicated community of supercross fans across the world and these figures show that when you offer them top class riders, exciting racing action and a fan-first content offering, they will engage and show their support. Expanding and improving our broadcast offering and partnerships continues to be a goal for the next few years to ensure the world’s best supercross action can be seen by fans no matter where they are.
“2025 will be the year that we place innovation at the heart of our broadcast strategy, and we want to ensure the championship is the pinnacle of competition in the calendar for supercross fans worldwide. Keep an eye out for our 2025 race calendar and more exciting announcements in the coming weeks, we’re excited to show you what we’ve been working on.”
London will not be the first British round held in the championship as the series visited Cardiff in 2022 before racing in Birmingham in 2023.
