Handmade by renowned Japanese manufacturer Arai, the RX-7 is Arai’s state-of-the-art helmet in terms of protection, ventilation, comfort and fit.  The new RX-7V EVO, apart from accumulated improvements under the skin, looks identical. Because it is. The difference? Everything.

Arai was one of the first brands to introduce helmets are the new ECE R22-06 safety approval.

The brand is always trying to accumulate small improvements one by one decade after decade as well as surpassing safety standards. In addition to ECE R22-06, every Arai has to meet the company’s own in-house criteria. This is a really important point to note for any rider or racer interested in ultimate protection which comes from Arai’s dedication to protecting fellow riders.

Staying cool on track or road is essential. As well as uncompromised safety, the RX-7V EVO also comes with improved ventilation. The combined systems offer excellent and efficient ventilation. Utilising the same proven system as the RX-7V, the centre duct provides 11 per cent more airflow, with bigger switches for effortless operating. The lowered side-air channels guide air from the cheek pad area to the side ducts. The diffuser is 20 mm longer with improved aerodynamics, and 19 per cent larger intake scoops, both work together with the Air Wing to improve stability. The chin cover blocks air intrusion and draws more air from the mouth area.

The RX-7V EVO along with other models in the Arai range all feature its signature smooth, round and strong shell design. This has in effect allowed the helmet to maintain impact resistance by spreading impact forces to  ‘glance-off’ and disperse, enhancing safety. It’s an Arai through and through.
