BMW HAS revealed this updated 2017 version of its K1600 GT.

The heavyweight tourer has been upgraded with BMW’s semi-active suspension, with automatic damping adjustment and two modes – ‘Road’ and ‘Dynamic’.

It’s also gained ‘reverse-assist’, activated with a button on the left handlebar.

The dash has been redesigned and new options include an up/down quick-shifter and BMW’s ‘Intelligent Emergency Call’ system, designed to call for help in the event of a crash.

Wind protection has been ‘optimised’ and the six-cylinder has been made compliant with latest Euro4 emission limits.

There are also three new metallic colour choices: red, black or black and blue.

The updated model was revealed today at the Intermot motorcycle show in Cologne, Germany, with price to be confirmed.
