BSB Rider Ruled out of Navarra Test Following Huge Highside
Lewis Rollo was ruled out of today’s second day of BSB testing in Navarra, following a monster highside on Sunday which left him hospitalised

Aprilia rider Lewis Rollo is taking no part in the final day of BSB testing at Navarra today, following a huge highside during Sunday’s action which left him hospitalised, although he’s been back in the paddock since.
Riding for the SENCAT IN Competition team, Rollo was heading into a fast left-hander before being thrown off his RSV4. As Rollo was skidding along the tarmac on the run-off area his bike then hit him for good measure although the impact appeared to be minimal.
Despite being ruled out of action, Rollo has returned to the paddock for the final day of testing before BSB heads to Donington Park for its second of three pre-season tests.
The crash for Rollo brought out an immediate red flag, however, after confirming that a lot of damage was caused to the RSV4, he also admitted to suffering no broken bones as a result of the highside.
“Thanks for all the kind messages and support,” Rollo said. “I obviously had a huge crash at the second-last turn, and got rushed off to hospital. Luckily, no broken bones. Just a lot of damage, muscle-wise, at the bottom of my bike. The bike is getting fixed. I will be healing up when I get home to sunny Scotland. We’ll be ready for the official Donington Park test.”
Footage of the crash can be seen below.
