Rough Crafts has unveiled its latest custom build creation, a supermoto that's a cross between a Yamaha Tenere 700 and YZ450F, and the thing looks as sweet as.

Winston Yeh, owner of Rough Crafts, is no stranger to custom builds as he’s created over 80 motorcycles to date, but this supermoto edition might just be one of the best yet. This particular build has come somewhat out of the blue as Yeh had partnered with a friend’s home workshop, Faber Studio 1F, where the plan was to craft a Husqvarna 501 supermoto and a Honda CRF300 street tracker.

However, Yeh switched up his plans when he saw a YZ450F by Estenson Racing. That was all she wrote as Winston combined the Tenere's DNA with that of the YZ450F, and we think he made the right decision after seeing how this beauty turned out.

Firstly, the Tenere’s steel subframe was cut off and replaced with the aluminium YZ450F unit. Still working with Faber on the new build, the bike then went through a wiring harness and was stripped down to the absolute minimum essential components that were required.

With wiring sorted, JZO Crafts designed a full-custom aluminium fuel tank for the supermoto build, while it utilized the Tenere and YZ’s frame similarities and integrated mounts for all the plastic pieces needed, while still delivering a 6.8-litre fuel capacity.

A set of Ohlins RXF 48 S forks with flat track race-spec height and tuned for the Tenere 700′s weight were fitted, while the back-end features an Ohlins bolt-on rear shock with Rough Crafts’ custom linkage.

As if the big-name custom brands couldn’t get any better, the bike received a Roland Sands flat track racing design with the wheels given Rough Crafts graphics. A go-to when it comes to Yeh’s builds, Beringer Brakes are included front and rear, with a custom bracket that was fabricated in house by Rough Crafts. A Koso GPS speedometer is featured on the dash.
