A brand-new 40th Anniversary Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R, featuring input from its World Superbike model, could be yours for £3,550 less than its RRP price
Available for £14,295 at Wheels Motorcycles, this brand-new 2024 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R, which also happens to be the 40-year anniversary model, is offering a huge saving of £3,550.
Even better, this is the same motorcycle that the official Kawasaki Racing Team - now run by Bimota - based its ZX-10R race bike on, therefore it has input from the racing program and is in race trim.
An all-new aerodynamics package with integrated winglets is present on this 40th anniversary ZX-10R model, which also features new LED headlights, TFT colour instruments and smartphone connectivity alongside further technical updates derived straight from the Kawasaki Racing Team.
Featuring a liquid-cooled in-line four 998cc engine, this 2024 edition ZX-10R produces a whopping 200bhp at 13,200rpm and 84.7Ib ft of torque at 11,400rpm. Braking is supplied by dual semi-floating 330mm discs with four-piston Brembo M50 monobloc callipers. At the rear is a single 220mm disc and single-piston calliper, again from Brembo.
The suspension comprises 43mm inverted forks from Showa with compression, rebound damping and spring preload adjustability. The rear includes a horizontal back-link with BFRC lite gas-charged shock and piggyback reservoir, that also allows for compression, rebound damping and spring preload adjustability.
Integrated riding modes include Sport, Road, Rain and Rider (Manual) while this model also received updated clip-on handlebars and footpegs for a more aggressive riding position on the track.
Following the 2019 model which was one of the latest ZX-10R models to undergo several changes, the 2024 bike went a step further as it got improved chassis geometry to boot, while the bike also features a cruise control system.
