Ducati DRE Adventure Academy lands in Wales
One of the UK’s premier off-road venues will host a new adventure riding experience in 2024, as the Ducati DRE Adventure Academy arrives at Sweet Lamb in Wales.
Following the DRE’s Racetrack Academy making its first visit to the UK earlier this year at the Silverstone GP circuit, the Ducati DRE Adventure Academy has taken up a permanent residence at the sprawling Sweet Lamb off-road playground.
The course is aimed at riders who are looking to find their feet in the world of off-road adventure riding, and also those who also have some experience but are looking to further their off-road skills. The courses take place within the confines of the facility, where riders will have the opportunity to learn different techniques through focused theory lessons and exciting riding sessions. The facility at Sweet Lamb boasts a huge variety of off-road riding areas, from sweeping fire trails, to tight, technical sections, and even a natural bowl with specially designed obstacles and features like water-crossings, slalom courses and tabletop jumps.
The venue also boasts some of the best trainers in the business, and as you’d expect, there’s a range of Ducati adventure motorcycles to choose from, including the newly announced DesertX Rally, and the DesertX, together with the Multistrada V4 Rally.
The move to Sweet Lamb comes at a time when Ducati is getting serious about dirt bikes, and as the firm has just announced its plans to move into the off-road motocross sector, future plans could include Ducati enduro riding courses taking place at the same venue.
