Manchester Bike Show to make a triumphant return to EventCity in January 2022
Three cancelations and many postponements later, Manchester Bike Show is confirmed as returning on the 29th & 30th of January 2022.
It’s confirmed! Manchester Bike Show will make a long-awaited return to EventCity on Saturday the 29th & Sunday the 30th of January 2022.
Organisers of the Manchester Bike Show certainly have to put up with a lot, don’t they? Following 2 covid-induced cancellations in 2020 & 2021, the venue EventCity was thought to be due for permanent closure - so they moved plans to alternative venue Bowlers.
These plans then fell through due to the infamous manufacturer stock shortage, and the postponement brings us to the most recent plans: an April 2022 Bowlers date. Still with us?

EventCity is a much larger venue with much greater capacity for the ‘No.1 Bike Show in the North’ to take place, so when a third-party company approach the organisers with a short term events licence at the venue, it’s fair to say hands were bitten off.
Bowlers is off the cards then, but organisers have said they may still make use of the 3rd April 2022 booked date for a one-day classic bike show depending on uptake from classic club exhibitors.
So get your 2022 plans booked in, if there’s one thing we’ve all missed over the last year-and-a-bit, it’s the abundant motorcycle shows across the country.
Will it be a chance to see the Triumph Tiger 660 Sport?
I’ve seriously missed bike shows so I’ll certainly be going to as many as I can, and the Manchester venue is a proper good day out - it’s right next to the Old Trafford shopping centre if your other half needs a bit of persuasion.
