National Motorcycle Museum Launches ‘Big Annual Bike Meet’
The ‘ride in’ event will see bikers converge on the Midlands venue and will offer visitors discounted entry, Q&As, displays and a BBQ
A new bike meet is coming to the midlands this summer, as The National Motorcycle Museum and OMG Grilla Yamaha Racing announce the ‘OMG…It’s the NMM’s Big Annual Bike Meet’.
The free-to-attend meet, which the NMM describes as a ‘dedicated ride in event’, is set to take place at the NMM on Thursday, July 25 from 5:00 PM to 9:30 PM. Those who attend can take advantage of 50 per cent off admission to the NMM’s five halls to enjoy over 1,000 British bikes from across the years.
Alongside this, OMG, now the official Yamaha team in BSB, will be bringing its merchandise stall to the event, along with its British Superbike racers, Kyle Ryde and Ryan Vickers, who scooped up both wins in the opening Navarra Round of the 2024 BSB Championship in Spain. They will be on hand to talk to fans, sign merch’, and allow visitors to see their BSB race bikes up close and in person. The pair will also participate in a Q&A session with fans, giving you the chance to quiz them both on the season so far. The press release from the NMM also mentions that visitors ‘might’ witness some of NMM’s iconic racing bikes being fired up by the OMG Grilla Yamaha Racing Team, an element that would merge the past and present of motorcycle racing.
To keep guests refreshed and ready to hit the halls, there’s also an outdoor BBQ planned, along with giveaways including the chance to take home two annual passes to the museum, as well as a haul of OMG merch’ to some lucky winners.
