Indian Motorcycle Reveals its ‘First 6’ Sport Chief RT Winner
Following a public vote on which of the six new custom Sport Chief RT models was the best, it was Portugal’s ‘Bastard’ edition that took home the crown

After revealing its special ‘First 6’ contest a few weeks ago in which six dealers would have the opportunity to craft their own custom Sport Chief RT model, Indian Motorcycles have confirmed that MotoStrada Porto, in Portugal, has been crowned the winner with its ‘Bastard’ edition.
The public vote closed on 11 February with MotoStrada Porto crowned the winner of the initiative two days later during the Salon Du 2 Roues show in Lyon, France.

The six dealers that participated in the competition first revealed their custom Sport Chief RT models at the Moto Bike Expo, in Italy, where Indian Motorcycles also celebrated the announcement of its new 2025 Sport Chief RT that same day.
Each dealer had six weeks from the time the Sport Chief RT arrived at its doors to the grand reveal to construct its custom bike, and MotoStrada Porto, which has been an exclusive Indian motorcycle store since 2015, opted to give the bike Ohlins front forks as well as matching it with an Ohlins rear shock.
With Brembo front callipers already on the standard Sport Chief RT, MotoStrada selected a matching Brembo master cylinder designed for the Indian FTR. Other performance-based features the Portuguese dealer opted for included an air filter by Performance Machine, an exhaust system by Dr. Jekill and Mr. Hyde and spoked wheels by Kineo. These parts were all complemented by Indian Motorcycle accessories, including handlebar risers, FTR brake and clutch levers, a taller windshield, and the new PowerBand Audio Bluetooth speaker for the Indian Chief lineup.

Second in the voting was the No Comply Society custom Sport Chief RT from UK dealer Krazy Horse, while third place went the way of the Top Fuel model from the Indian Motorcycle Metz dealer in France.
“The response to the ‘First 6’ dealer customs has been incredible, and I just want to say a huge thank you to our dealers for accepting the challenge and knocking this one so far out of the park,” said Ola Stenegärd, Director of Design for Indian Motorcycle.

“MotoStrada’s ‘Bastard’ is a worthy winner, embodying the spirit of performance, style, and raw individuality that defines the Sport Chief RT. I’m stoked that the decision was by public vote as I just simply couldn’t have chosen just one build for an award. Each bike had its own cool, innovative touches, fabrication work, beautiful parts and eye-popping paint. I was genuinely blown away by all the work put into each of these bikes and what these six teams managed to accomplish in such an extremely short time.”
