The new 2025 Ducati Panigale V4 has been officially confirmed as an entrant into this year’s Endurance World Championship, which will be its racing debut.

The new Panigale V4 will debut in the championship courtesy of the Aviobike WRS Team, with former World Superbike rider Luca Bernardi riding alongside Akito Haga, son of Noriyuki Haga, and Alberto Butti.

While the Aviobike WRS team are mainstays in the Endurance World Championship, as it stands they are the only team that will be running the new V4 superbike from the Italian company.

Ducati first introduced the new superbike last year and in our own Ducati Panigale V4 review, one of the main areas the bike had improved was stability over the previous model. Throttle connection was also highlighted as a big area of success, and given its improved power against the old model, and overall prowess, the new Ducati Panigale V4 looks poised to give Honda, Yamaha and BMW a run for its money in the endurance series this year.

The bike’s racing debut is set for none other than the famous Circuit Bugatti at Le Mans on 19 April.

Nicolas Zavoli, CEO at WRS, said: “We will be the first, and for now the only ones, to race the new Ducati V4 in the EWC championship, a bike that represents the highest point of technological evolution of the Borgo Panigale manufacturer. A new challenge, perfectly in line with our company philosophy: made in Italy, performance, and reliability, three concepts that identify WRS.

“I can't wait to be in Le Mans in front of hundreds of thousands of spectators and I am sure that with a high-performance bike, talented riders, and a team of passionate people, we can be competitive right from the start.”
