This is Not Your Typical MV Agusta Dragster 800 RR
If you are a fan of all things Lewis Hamilton and MV Agusta then you’re in luck as a special edition LH44 Dragster 800 RR is on sale with next to no miles on the clock
Seven-time F1 world champion Lewis Hamilton collaborated with MV Agusta a few years ago to present 244 limited edition LH44 Dragster 800 RR motorcycles, and you could get your hands on one for £18,999, courtesy of The Bike Specialists.
The bike has just 494 miles on the clock and is not your typical Dragster 800 RR as the Mercedes, and soon-to-be Ferrari, F1 driver has personally signed it.
Complete with some very nice touches such as a boxed book with video presentation and photographs depicting the design and build process. The purchase of this bike will also include a cover, paddock stand, charger, and original parts including the full handbook pack to complete the package.
Number #55 out of 244 examples made, it will also feature a model-related private registration number and will receive a service and full MOT prior to sale.
The bike's styling is based around Hamilton's helmet and race number from 2015, and the LH44 Dragster incorporates adjustable clip-ons, and carbon fiber bodywork among other impressive features. Fitted with MV Agusta’s famous triple exhaust pipe system, the chassis boasts red Marzocchi forks and Brembo brake calipers.
Alongside various Hamilton logos that can be seen on the bike, including the fuel tank, pillion seat cover and carbon fibre fairing, the bike also features a CNC Racing fuel cap filter. CNC Racing is an official supplier for MV Agusta, along with Pramac and Benelli.
Speaking of the collaboration, Hamilton said: "I have a huge passion for bikes, so the opportunity to work with MV Agusta on my own Dragster RR LH44 Limited Edition has been a great experience.
“I have really enjoyed the creative design process with the MV Agusta team; the bike looks amazing - really aggressive and with fantastic attention to detail, I am truly proud of the result. I love riding this bike; it is so much fun. I hope its new owners love it as much as I do."
Following the partnership between himself and MV Agusta, Hamilton was back in the news a few years later when he rode a Yamaha M1 MotoGP bike at Valencia with Valentino Rossi.
