Agostini and Pasolini replicas all round...

AGV launches Legends helmets collection

AGV, celebrating its 70th anniversary since the production of its first helmet, has unveiled its Legends, a new collection of helmets that immortalises riders and achievements that will never be forgotten.

With Legends, AGV has created a collection of safe, modern helmets with authentic shapes and graphics that evoke the extraordinary achievements of legendary racers who were born to win: Giacomo Agostini and Renzo Pasolini.

The X3000 was the helmet designed for Agostini, who won more titles than anyone else in history. One of the first-ever full-face helmets, the X3000 has been born again with current safety standards but the same classic design.

The X3000’s famous tricolor motif inspired the AGV logo and was one of the most winning helmet models in motorbike history. The helmet carries Agostini’s signature and includes the contoured chin piece just as he liked it, so that he could lean right up against the gas tank.

It also features a dual-button visor that can be opened with the left hand alone and integrates new and innovative solutions like the ventilation device hidden within the visor and the removable embroidered leather interior.

The X3000 is available in Gloria, featuring the graphics from Agostini’s racing suit with the five colors of the Olympic rings separating white from red; and the Super AGV, which reinvents racing as we once knew it with clean lines, iconic colors minimalist combinations and with a simplicity and elegance that mark the early versions that led to the end of single-color graphics.

Additionally, and with just 3,000 pieces available worldwide, the AGO1 is a stunning reproduction that blends the original graphic style, shape and colors with the modern-day quality, comfort and safety for which AGV helmets are known. The X3000 is available in 10 different designs, including the limited edition AGO1.

State-of-the-art comfort and safety are carefully concealed to maintain the legendary design in the X70, the jet helmet that pays tribute to Renzo Pasolini, Agostini’s adversary on the track and one of the most popular motorcycle heroes from the 1960’s. “Paso” preferred open-face helmets, and the X70 offers the original open-face aesthetics with advanced safety standards. The X70 is available in the original Pasolini green with two-colour profile and nine other colourways.
