PR Racing expands for 2021 BSB, Supersport star Brad Jones joins Joe Francis
PR Racing celebrates its 20th anniversary in BSB by doubling up to run new signing Brad Jones alongside Joe Francis on a pair of new BMW M 1000 RRs
The long-serving PR Racing team has announced it will expand to run a pair of motorcycles in the 2021 British Superbike Championship after agreeing a new deal with Joe Francis and adding British Supersport runner-up Brad Jones.
The Liverpool-based team has been competing in BSB for 20 years but has largely focused on a single-machine entry, with Francis leading that effort over the past two seasons.
However, for 2021 the team is doubling up to coincide with its two decade anniversary and the arrival of the new BMW M 1000 RR.

Francis’ retention comes after a noticeable step forward in form in 2020 with regular points’ finishers and his first top tens at Donington Park.
“This will be a fantastic opportunity to build on the consistent development from myself and the team over the last two years. Towards the end of the 2020 season, we really stepped up as we closed the gap and ran with the leading pack. I can’t wait to swing my leg over the new bike and start testing.”
Jones, meanwhile, comes on board having notched up several wins in the British Supersport class en route to the runners-up spot over the past two seasons. He joins former team-mate and 2020 BritishSSP winner Rory Skinner in making the BSB leap.
“I’m very excited to get going, I know I have a lot of learning to do but that’s all part of the process. The excitement is really high for 2021 and get my first taste of the Superbike. At this stage of my career, stepping up into Superbikes and benefitting from all of the team’s experience, is a great opportunity for me.”
“As we enter our 20th year in the Superbike class, the team are really excited to be bringing another young talent on-board,” added Team Principal John Jameson.
“With the continued support of Bowker Motorrad, BMW Motorrad UK and the rest of our team partners, we’re really looking forward to, and relish the fresh challenges the 2021 season will bring. This announcement completes our 2021 plans with four riders competing in three different classes across the Bennetts British Superbike Championship.”
