The 2021 MotoGP livery for Red Bull KTM has been revealed, it’s a lot of Red Bull and a little KTM Orange.

MOTOGP team Red Bull KTM has shown us all their 2021 take on the KTM RC16 which amassed three wins over the 2020 season.

KTM secured their first-ever MotoGP race win in 2020, with Brad Binder at the Brno Czech GP in August.

He is joined in 2021 by Miguel Oliveira, who comes over from the Tech 3 team. The race win was also monumental in the fact that it was the first time a new manufacturer had celebrated a MotoGP race win since Ducati, way back in 2003.

New KTM joiner Oliveira was quoted as saying:

“It is quite a relaxing factor to know that the bike is capable of winning but at the same time you cannot take anything for granted and when it comes to repeating success it becomes harder, so I don’t see it as a static job,”

"I think every year you need to bring something ‘up’ on your side to keep a very good level in this championship. I feel I am able to work more on details in a factory team and to at least be more consistent. I think these are the tools that the factory team is going to give me. I have full conviction in my work.”

This new KTM, in my opinion, looks ace with the matte effect livery, which is mostly Red Bull adorned but has some KTM orange peeking through. The engine itself is a 1000cc 90º V4 with a peak output of 265BHP, and a top speed of over 265mph.

It’s also the only bike on the grid with a steel trellis frame and WP suspension - will it be enough for more success in the 2021 season?

Stay tuned on Visordown throughout the 2021 MotoGP season for the latest headlines. Check out the full article for the new Red Bull KTM MotoGP livery on crash.net
