Super-Exclusive Ducati Panigale V4 Tricolore Italia Revealed
The new Panigale V4 Tricolore Italia is a homage to Ducati triumphing in Mugello in 2024 and just 163 units are set to be built

Ducati has pulled the wraps off its latest special edition Panigale, as the V4 Tricolore Italia is unveiled at the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy (MIMIT).
The bike is limited to 163 units and has been built to commemorate Ducati’s win in the Italian GP at Mugello in 2024. The race was won by Francesco Bagnaia, who snatched victory from pole-sitter and title rival Jorge Martin. Martin may have gone on to scoop the rider’s title in 2024, but the Sunday in Mugello belonged to the factory Ducati team, as Enea Bastianini and Bagnaia locked out the top two steps of the podium.
More than just a fancy paint job

Unlike some of Ducati’s previous Panigale special editions, the Tricolore Italia is much more than a slap of paint and some decals, with Ducati boosting the base spec with a host of exclusive features. Top of that list are carbon fibre wheels, with the five-spoke items reducing weight by just under a kilogram and slashing the unsprung weight drastically.

Further enhancements come in the form of Brembo’s Front Brake Pro+, making the Tricolore Italia the first bike in the world to receive the kit. The system consists of two finned Brembo T-Drive discs with a diameter of 338.5 mm and a thickness of 6.2 mm. This is said to increase the power of the brakes, as well as the consistency. The trick discs are mated to GP4 Sport Production racing calipers which are machined from a solid billet and homologated for road use. The brakes are the very same ones used by the stars of World Ducati Week 2024 who competed in the Race of Champions, and are derived from the stoppers used in the Superbike World Championship. Topping off the braking system is a Brembo MCS 19.21 master cylinder with remote brake lever position adjustment.

Other changes for the model include a dry clutch and carbon fibre clutch cover, adjustable aluminium footpegs, brake caliper conveyors, a racing fuel tank cap, an Alcantara seat, a racing plexiglass screen and dedicated graphics on the TFT dash. Another feature, which is likely to be wasted, given the exclusivity of the thing, is a GPS module to log on-track performance. Good luck plucking up the courage to take this bike to a track day.

The final element making the Tricolore Italia so special is that each version will carry the signature of Francesco Bagnaia on the fuel tank and each bike will be delivered in a specially personalised wooden crate.
So, the big question is, how much? Simply put we don’t know but it doesn’t matter now, as all 163 editions of the Ducati Panigale V4 Tricolore Italia have already been assigned to their new owners - no doubt to live out their lives in the dining room so they can be gawped at!
