Daniel Craig-Signed James Bond Triumph Bikes to be Sold For Charity
Daniel Craig and Triumph team up to raise funds for RNLI by selling two official 007 motorcycles
Daniel Craig and Triumph have teamed up to sell two official 007 bikes, used in 2021’s No Time To Die, the 25th James Bond film. The two motorcycles include a Scrambler 1200 and Tiger 900, both of which were used in the film and are currently owned by Craig.
The two bikes are being auctioned off in a bid to raise funds for the RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institution) charity, which saves lives at sea. As mentioned, the two Triumph bikes featured in No Time To Die and are also signed by Craig. Both motorcycles are one of just 250 official Bond Editions of each bike.
The Scrambler 1200 is #03 and the Tiger 900 is #01 of each bike’s respective production run. As well as being available to buy in the auction, the winner of each motorcycle will be given the opportunity to ride with Bond stunt co-ordinator Lee Morrison and 007 stunt double Paul Edmondson. Offered at an estimate of £10,000-20,000 each, both lots will include a riding experience at the Triumph Adventure Experience in Wales.
If you're a fan of the James Bond films like me, you will know that these bikes were involved in some incredibly cool scenes. The successful bidders will also receive V5C documents bearing Daniel Craig’s name, as well as a certificate of authenticity signed by both Daniel Craig and Triumph Motorcycles CEO, Nick Bloor.
“The RNLI has been close to my heart all my life since growing up near the RNLI station at Hoylake,” said Craig. “I have incredible memories of going afloat with the RNLI crew at Ramsgate to experience firsthand what it’s like to be part of the organisation that has saved over 146,000 lives since starting up over 200 years ago.
“I am honoured and immensely proud to support the RNLI and hope the auction of Triumph’s Limited Edition Bond motorcycles proves popular. The riding experience with Lee Morrison and Paul Edmondson adds another unique and exciting dynamic to the lots. I worked with Lee on Casino Royale, all the way through to No Time To Die; the opportunity is not to be missed and will help raise funds for the truly lifesaving cause that is the RNLI.”
Bonhams is the official provider of the auction, and has plenty of other motorcycles available to win. The auction will take place on the 12 and 13 August at the Classic Motorcycle Mechanics Show in Staffordshire.
