DAO Racing Unveils Flashy 2025 BSB Honda Bikes
DAO Racing has taken the covers off its Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP machines ahead of the new BSB season
DAO Racing has unveiled its latest Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP livery for the 2025 British Superbike Championship, as well as an all-new line-up.
DAO Racing’s new rider pairing consists of two-time series champion Josh Brookes alongside ex-Kawasaki rider Lee Jackson, and both were on hand to take the covers off the team's new livery.
Brookes has switched to the Honda outfit following a difficult 2024 season at FHO Racing, where he rode a BMW M1000 RR. The Australian has not competed on Honda machinery since 2010 when he finished runner-up to Ryuichi Kiyonari.
Jackson keeps a level of continuity for the 2025 campaign as he remains on a CBR1000RR-R, although he too has changed teams.
Speaking at the team's launch, Brookes said: “I’m certainly well aware of the amount of work that has gone on in getting to now, the time and effort that has gone in by all the team from the end of last season until now to get the bike ready.
"So, it is good to finally have the bike on display so everyone can get an idea of the hard work, the quality of work that the team have put in to get started this year.
"It’s also another step closer to pre-season testing, which is what I’m truly looking forward to, getting going and riding the bike.
"I’ve had a huge amount of time on a bike throughout the off-season so I feel very well prepared for pre-season testing."
BSB pre-season testing gets underway on 6-7 April at the Navarra circuit in Spain, before moving to Donington Park two weeks later.
