This cheap 2021 BMW G310R model is a bargain waiting to find its new home, and even better, it’s barely been out on the road despite having three owners

One of BMW’s most affordable bikes and a go-to for new riders, this 2021 G310R is painted in a black and white livery and has just 931 miles on the clock.

Presented by Riders of Bridgwater, this 313cc water-cooled single-cylinder engine produces 34bhp at 9250rpm and 20.6Ib ft of torque at 7500rpm, numbers which are unchanged since this bike was the latest model to receive major upgrades.

Able to reach a top speed of 88mph, this G310R features a Tubular space frame with dual 41mm upside-down forks in gold. The rear suspension set-up comprises a cast aluminium dual swing arm, central spring strut and adjustable spring pre-load. There’s very little to choose from when it comes to the suspension travel figures, with 140mm at the front and 131mm for the rear.

Braking includes a single 300m disc that’s gripped by a four-piston fixed caliper which is radially bolted, while the rear again sees a single disc, albeit smaller thanks to its 240mm diameter, which also features a single-piston floating caliper. Seat height comes in at 785mm although this can be adjusted for a lower (770mm) or higher (800mm) riding position.

The G310R has seen many different colourways over the years, but this black and white livery is one of the most recent options to land, alongside the white, red and blue which gives the bike its official BMW paint scheme.

The bike consists of many stock parts, however, what has changed is the exhaust that has been upgraded with an aftermarket item. Despite having three owners, this bike that can be bought on Autotrader, has been well maintained and costs just £3,500. A genuinely attractive commuter bike for peanuts in our eyes!
