New BMW R1300 RS and RT Models to be Unveiled this Month
It looks as though will see the arrival of BMW’s new R1300 RS and RT models on 29 April

After the recent reveal of the new R1300 R, more additions to the BMW boxer family are on the way with the new R1300 RS and RT models, both of which are reportedly going to be unveiled on 29 April.
When the new R1300 R was launched a couple of weeks ago it arrived with more power than ever before, using the same technical platform as the R1300 GS.
Both the new RS and RT are expected to get the same treatment when it comes to the boxer twin engine. That means both models will also produce 143bhp of peak power at 7750rpm and 110Ib ft of torque at 6500rpm.
Following in the footsteps of the R1300 GS once again, both the RS and RT models are expected to get the same frame that’s also found aboard the 2025 R1300 R, which is converted from tubular steel to sheet metal mainframe and also features a bolt-on rear made of cast aluminium.
The new R1300 R made gains of 9bhp more than the previous R1250, which is likely to result in the same figures for the RS and RT models against the outgoing models.
The prices for the new R1300 RS and RT models are not yet known, but that information will become clearer when the two models are officially launched.
But starting prices are unlikely to differ too much from the new R1300 R which starts at £13,200, before rising to £15,500 for an SE version. If you want to get your hands on BMW’s semi-automatic ASA gearbox you will have to dish out £16,255.
The new R1300 R is cheaper than the GS model which starts at £16,470. When we tested the bike recently we had the ‘Option 719’ ticked, which adds the 'Tramuntana' Auerelius Green Metallic paint and gold wheels combination, a comfort seat, electric windscreen, pillion package and billet pack for an extra £2,820.
If you want to add the Dynamic Package on top of that to add the quickshifter and the adaptive suspension, it's an extra £1,660.
